Beef and cheddar patties
description:
Cheesy meat patties that only require 20 minutes prep and 20 minutes cooking time.
Ingredients:
- 500g beef mince
- 1 small brown onion, grated
- 1/3 cup grated cheddar
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 1/4 cups fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp smoky barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
- Place mince, onion, cheddar, parsley, garlic, breadcrumbs, sauces and egg in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix to combine. Shape mixture into 6 patties. Place on a plate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties, in 2 batches, for 4 to 5 minutes each side or until browned and cooked through. Serve.
